If your baby’s position is not ideal for a 4D scan we stop scanning and ask you to take a short gentle walk in the local area. In some cases you may also be offered another appointment, free of charge. In addition, we may also spend more time digitally post processing your images after the scan to obtain satisfactory results. You do not need a full bladder for a 4D scan.
All your products will be available to take away on the day. If however, we experience any technical difficulties, etc we will send them out in the post as soon as possible.?As a 4D Baby Scanning Company routinely performing 3D scans we know the quality of ultrasound images is very patient variable. In most cases by using the expertise of our sonographers and the latest ultrasound technology, great images are produced. However despite this, in some cases the imaging of your baby can be difficult with variable results. This is generally due to the position of your baby, the position of the placenta, the amount of fluid around the baby and the amount of maternal tissue – most of which are unpredictable at the time of scanning. We will always do our best to get the best results for you on the day of your appointment.
